I was thinking about how to encourage the many inactive members here to participate more frequently. If only half of them would turn on their machine(s) no matter how briefly every day/week/month it would make a huge difference in this team's rise. I care not about my rank on the team and would gladly donate all my points if there was a way to entice some of these members to become more active on a regular basis. I just don't have the ideas to reach said people and not certain how many of them actually visit the forum.

The greatest difficulty in many fields is motivating people, and especially keeping them motivated over the long term. Here as elsewhere, unfortunately, we can't escape this reality… I’m afraid we simply can't do any better.

Of course, some people choose not to fold during long periods because of the cost of a GPU and/or the associated electricity consumption costs, but mainly, I think it is largely due to a loss of motivation.

I think that many folders stops because of electric consumption costs and taxes that increase frequently, and i think that recent and further news will not help for that.

And above all, I don't think giving them points is a solution to get them to come back permanently.
