Il y a aussi peut être une explication à cette baisse généralisée de production.
Si on regarde les prix chez Vast.ai on se rends bien compte qu'ils ont quasiment doublé pour une RTX 5090. En plus du prix de location s'ajoutent souvent des frais internet ( upload/ download ) exhorbitants.
Vu que de plus en plus de monde se tourne vers Vast.ai ou autre , cela peut expliquer cette baisse.

À mon avis, cet engouement pour vast.ai explique surtout la hausse de ses tarifs.
Et la sacrée méga pub gratos qu'on lui a offerte lors du challenge y a certainement contribué.

You should really consider limiting how many instances a user / ip can rent. There is currently a large enterprise renting all 3090 / 4090 / 5090 and more available.
I guess for you it doesn't really matter who rents them but for individual users it makes the service unusable if all GPUs are gone to the big players and nothing is left

For the past week or two, the only verified 5090s available are those from Asia/Eastern Europe with either comically low download/upload speeds and/or inferior specs for more than 1.5-2x the rate (rarely <$0.6/hr), and whenever anything remotely decent becomes available and I try to rent it, I instantly get this error.

Some party is bot scalping all 3090s, 4090s and 5090s, leaving nothing for us.

Has been going on for 2 weeks now. Some twat is renting all GPU 3090s, 4090s, 5080s, 5090s. They are doing it with bots so don't think you can rent one of you spot a decent one. Its gone before you can blink.

The person/company who needs to utilize all that GPU compute simultaneously, so much so that there is barely anything left for any other person using the service to rent, can totally afford to just buy their own machines, right? It’s crazy that the median for 5090s have skyrocketed from $0.4/hr to $0.49/hr in just one week alone

Yeah about the availability issue, there's 100% some blatant botting going on that needs to be addressed. Waiting patiently for a suitable GPU then clicking rent within a second of it becoming available and its already gone? How fair is that?
